He was also was recognized by Lokmanya Tilak, who was born on 23rd of July 1856 with a name Keshav Gangadhar Tilak who was a teacher, lawyer, social reformer, independence activist and Indian Nationalist who been the first leader of the Indian Independence Movement. Being conferred with the name as ‘Lokmanya’ which meant “Accepted by the People as their Leader!

He is also been one of the robust advocates of Swaraj also a strong reformist in Indian Consciousness. He got famous by his Marathi saying, “???????? ?? ???? ????????? ???? ??? ??? ?? ?? ????????” which meant, “Swarajya is my birthright and I shall have it!” while been in India.
