The International Textiles Expo has now ended as it was scheduled for 3 days and was held in Sri Lankan Capital Colombo. Started on 21st February 2018 the India International Textiles Expo was organized by Powerloom Development & Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL) with the support of Union Ministry of Textiles & Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India (GoI).

Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Special Assignments of Sri Lanka was the chief guest for the inauguration ceremony. In the event, there were around 45 exhibitors from various textile clusters of India were displaying a variety of fabrics, home textiles, traditional items etc. It was really special and a moment of proud to see the products of reputed Indian textile companies under one roof.
