Larry Ellison full name Lawrence  Joseph Ellison is the owner of the Oracle born on 17 August 1944 Larry is an American businessman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, co-founder executive chairman and chief technology officer of Oracle Corporation. Larry was born in the New York and he grew in Chicago and studied at the studied  University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and the University of Chicago without graduating before moving to California in 1966.

In the year 1970, he got influenced by Edgar F. Codds research on relational database design while working in Ampex and later it led to the formation of Oracle. This company became a successful database providing vendor to mid-range systems and very soon this Oracle started giving tough competition to Microsoft and Sybase.

Larry Ellison is licensed pilot and also own two jets and he was also listed by Forbes magazine as 5th the wealthiest person in the U.S and was on the 8th position in the whole world in the same category.
