By defeating Samet Hyuseinov in Manchester Arena Vijendra Singh Became the first Indian to score a Pro-Boxing hat-trick. Well, this time the fight with Samet Hyuseinov was bit tougher compared to his previous fights.  He was in beast mode as he just took 30 seconds to finish up the second round which was technical knockout round.

Vijendra Singh has also won bronze medal in 2008 olympics and after this win he was been awarded with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award—India's highest sporting honour and Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour.
