FIFA U-20 World Cup!

England edged Venezuela1-0 in an exciting FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017 finals because of a first-half strike from Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the Suwon World Cup Stadium.

Calvert-Lewin scored the triumphant goal in the 35th minute when he completed from short proximity after his initial exertion was obstructed by Wuilker Farinez, yet the bounce back fell into the way of the Everton forward and he committed no error with his additional opportunity.

Britain goalkeeper Freddie Woodman made two fundamental spares in the second half. The first was a one-on-one open door for Sergio Cordova made by Yeferson Soteldo, and the second from the punishment spot from Adalberto Penaranda.

The match was equally challenged all through, with the two sides hitting the woodwork, yet it was England's night at last, as the Young Lions clutched move toward becoming U-20 World Cup champions out of the blue.

And England won!
