French Open 2017!

Who has won the women’s doubles title in French Open 2017?

Top seeds Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova secured the Women's Doubles title in the French Open tennis titles on 11th of June 2017.

The United States-Czech match subdued unseeded Australians Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua 6-2, 6-1 in the final tournament.

With no double faults or unforced mistakes, the pair of Mattek-Sands and Safarova fared stable to break six times to seal the win in only one hour and six minutes.

"We played extremely well today. We played a decent as a team. We watched them play their semi-finals."

They beat another great group in three sets, so we were prepared with what they would bring out on the court," said Bethanie.

"We are taking it one match at any given moment. We make the most of our training days and off-days," she said.

"We're extremely energized for grass. We're anticipating Wimbledon. We adore playing on grass, and we will be prepared there as well."
