Rafael Nadal won his 16th overall grand slam at the US open held last year in 2017. Well, this record made by him is nothing to get astonished as he is one of the most exceptional players in Tennis. By defeating the first time major finalist Anderson by 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 he won his third championship at Flushing Meadows.

Rafael currently holds the No.1 rank in world’s tennis ranking and it was his second grand slam of the year 2017 and with this, he has 16 overall grand slams. Well, after so long he was Nadal was been seen three single seasons, after losing to Federer at the Australian Open in January and beating Stan Wawrinka for his record 10th French Open trophy in June.

He is now on the second place in the list of players who have won the most number of grand slams as Roger Federer with 19 grand slams holds the top position.
