Union Budget 2018!
The Central Government has declared a Rs 1.4 lac-crore KUSUM Scheme to advance decentralized solar-based power generation of up to 28,250 MW to help ranchers. The acronym KUSUM remains for "Kisan Urja Suraksha Utthaan Maha Abhiyaan". In the Union Budget 2018-19, the Center has distributed Rs 48,000Crore on the 10-year KUSUM conspire. The plan would give an additional salary to agriculturists by giving them a choice to pitch extra energy to the framework through sun based power ventures set up on their desolate terrains. It would help in de-dieselizing the area as likewise the DISCOMS. Under the plan, the Central Government will give an endowment to ranchers on setting up of solar-based power plants on their infertile land. The 60% sponsorship of the solar based pumps gave to ranchers will be shared between the Center and the States while 30% would be given through bank advances. The balance cost must be borne by the agriculturists. Thus, Kusum Scheme will solarize agrarian draw sets to twofold the salary of agriculturists by 2022.
