The one who has been selected for the new chairman post of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Athletes’ Commissionis the high-jumper from Slovenia, Rozle Prezelj.

He replaced Namibian Frank Fredericks.

Prezelj was born in Maribor, and represented Slovenia at the Summer Olympics of the years 2004, 2008 and 2012. His best performed at the 2008 Olympics where he was at 12th place in high jump.

His father Dušan was also a greta athelete. He has been called as a decathlete with a high jump personal best of 2.15 m (1976),

his mother Stanka a two time Yugoslavian champion with a personal best of 1.86 m (1981).
