The Junagarh Fort is the most prominent fort in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Till 20th century, this fort was known as the Chintamani Mahal. This majestic fort remained unconquered even when thousands of attempts were made by perilous invaders. Hence, it is quite surprising that though it lacks the advantage of height, yet it remained protected against the vicious invasions.
Presently, a part of this fort is transformed into a grand museum where ancient artifacts have been well preserved. Thus, it becomes a must-visit place to have a wonderful experience.

began on 30th of January 1589 and was finished on 17th of February in the same year.
