"Burj Khalifa"
Skyscraper Burj Khalifa is the tallest in the world, it’s one of the finest pieces of man-made architecture and a center of attraction for almost everyone who thought to visit Dubai once. Burj Khalifa total height is 829.8 meters (2,772ft) and is from last 10 years it tops the list of top 10 tallest skyscrapers.
Design & Development
The construction work started in the year 2004 and it took around 5 years to construct its exteriors. Primary structure of Burj is reinforced concrete. Burj Khalifa was intentionally constructed and for making diverse recognition of Dubai from an Oil-based economy.

Adrian Smith, Owings & Merrill who previously designed and constructed the Wills Tower and World Trade Center were authorized to build Burj Khalifa. The design of this amazing skyscraper is inspired by Islamic architecture of the region similar to Mosque of Samarra.
It contains 57 elevators and 8 escalators and it has cladding system to withstand Dubai’s immense summer. For been designed with advanced systems and beautiful structure this building has got so many awards
Naming and honor
Initially, it was named as Burj Dubai but it was later renamed as Burj Khalifa to pay to honor the ruler of Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
