What are Leads in Salesforce?
Leads can be a human or a company, who is interested to take a service or want to purchase products. As a business, it will be an achievement if any leads converts into loyal customers. If you manage your leads in a systematic and structured way then you can increase your number of leads and the number of leads you convert.
By using leads company maintains two separate lists Prospective Customers and Existing Customers. We can store our prospects as leads and after a lead becomes qualified we can convert leads into an Account, Contacts, and Opportunity.
