"Mahendra Singh Dhoni"
Who is the best finisher in cricket history?

No matter in whatever situation India is on the field no matter how worst the condition our team is in, a match is never over if MS Dhoni is on strike.

Yes…..
Such kind of trust has been created by him over years as whole India never loses faith till the time M.S Dhoni is on the crease.
Listing down his figures in some important tournaments:

91* vs Sri Lanka at Mumbai 2011 (World Cup Final)
44* vs Australia at Adelaide 2012
45* vs Sri Lanka at Port of Spain 2013
72* vs Pakistan at Lahore
183 vs SL at Jaipur 2005

Who is the best finisher in cricket history?

Statistically speaking, MSD definitely takes the crown. But I personally also consider the great Michael Bevan of Australia a joint number one with Dhoni. Although statistically, Bevan may fall just short of Dhoni on the number of finishes, and the number of successful ones. But based the way Michael Bevan played the game almost always under pressure, the emotions and respect he commanded and earned from fans, and the importance of those games he won for Australia, rate him a joint number one along with Dhoni.

The other great finishers are Michael Hussey(Aus), Michael Clarke(Aus), Lance Klusener (SA), Shahid Afridi(Pak - statistically speaking not a lot may agree with this pick, but he did set many games up in favor of Pakistan, snatching them from defeat).

Dhoni is the best captain I have played under - Sachin Tendulkar
