Which cricketer scored the highest individual score in ODI cricket?

Rohit Gurunath Sharma, scored the highest individual score in ODI cricket. He scored 264 runs of 173 balls against Srilanka at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 13th November 2014.

During his innings of marathon 264, he hit 33 fours and 9 sixes. His innings considered to be obe of the best innings so far in the history of cricket. He is the only player till now who has three double century in ODIs.

He scored (209) against Australia in 2013, (264) against Srilanka in 2014 and his Third Double century came in 2017 against Srilanka where he scored (208) not out, his first double century as a captain previously done by Virendra Sehwag who scored 219 against West Indies.

He also has second most sixes in an innings (16). This record was broken by England's Eoin Morgan in 2019 world cup against Afganistan where he hits 17 sixes.

Rohit Sharma is considered one of the best openers for India from 2013 to till now..
