A hashtag (e.g., #NoFilter) is a grouping of letters, numbers, and/or emoji followed by the # symbol. They're used to putting things in order and making things easy to find.
Hashtags can be selected by clicking on them. Anyone who searches for or clicks on an Instagram hashtag will be directed to a page with all of the posts that have been tagged with that hashtag.

Hashtags are a great method to grow your Instagram following and reach more people. When you use a hashtag, your post will show up on the hashtag's page. If you include a hashtag in your Story, it may appear in the related hashtag Story, which is also displayed on the hashtag page.
People can also select to follow hashtags, which means that even if they don't follow you, they may see your hashtagged post in their feed.

Instagram hashtags can help you develop an online community and encourage people to interact with your company.
A standard post can include up to 30 hashtags, while a Story can have up to 10. Your remark or caption will not post if you try to include more.
However, just because you have the ability to use so many hashtags on Instagram doesn't mean you should. For each business or even each post by the same firm, there is no 'correct' quantity of hashtags.

The common consensus is that using 11 hashtags is a good place to start.. However, the most common hashtag count on Instagram is between one and three.
Hashtag pages are a fantastic method to reach a new audience with your material, especially if you can get included in the Top area.

Hashtag pages display all of the content that is connected with a certain hashtag. If someone searches for a post with that hashtag and yours are the most recent, it will appear first in the Recent section.
It's considerably easier to stay at the top of the Recent section for a less-popular or highly specialized hashtag.

Keep in mind that the posts in the Recent section are arranged by the date they were first shared. If you add hashtags afterward, either in a remark or by amending the caption, it will not increase the recency of your post.
