In which year The National Human Rights Commission is formed?
It is a self-ruling open body constituted on 12 October 1993 under the Protection of Human Rights Ordinance. It was given a statutory premise by the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (TPHRA). The NHRC is the National Human Rights Commission of India, in charge of the insurance and advancement of human rights, characterized by the Act as "rights identifying with life, freedom, equity, and pride of the individual ensured by the Constitution or typified in the International Covenants".
