The famous Ganga Sagar Mela is one of the biggest fair and is been considered as the 2nd largest religious festival after the Kumbh Mela of India. This giant religious fest is been celebrated on Sagardwip (Sagar Island) which is located on West Bengal of India.
The famous “Ganga Sagar Mela”, an annual fair is held in which state of India? 
This religious fest continues for 6 days in the month of January and on the day of Makar Sankranti its a tradition or you can say ritual of taking bath in holy river Ganga and visiting nearby the renowned Kapil Muni Temple.
