Uber has announced a cooperation with NASA to develop flying taxis
that are comparably priced with normal Uber rides.
It also said that Los Angeles will join two other 'UberAIR' trial schemes previously announced in Dallas Fort-Worth, Texas, and Dubai. The states with the most cars are California and Texas in the United States. Uber's participation in NASA's UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) Project will assist the firm meet its 2020 aim of launching uberAIR demonstration flights in select US cities.
Uber is looking to 'explore potential collaboration prospects with NASA' in order to create 'a new market of urban air mobility.'
