SEO or search engine optimization it generally means getting your website shown on first page of search results. It is basically done for beneficial purpose such as websites promotion, page promotion, product Promotion Company or any firm promotion etc.

“Search Engine Marketing” was once was used as an umbrella term to encompass both search engine optimization and paid-up search acts. Over time, the industry has opted the search engine marketing acronym to refer solely paid-up search

At Search Engine Land, we generally use SEM and/or “Paid-up Search” to refer to paid listings, with the longer term of search engine marketing used to encompass both SEO and SEM.
